Dance-A-Thon 2011 - Children saving children...dancing for a cure!
Synergism School of Dance is proud to present “Children saving children, dancing for a cure Dance-A-Thon 2011,” This benefit event is for The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in tribute to Tracey “Tray” Jackson.
Tracey “Tray“Jackson lost the fight to cancer in December 2009. Tray was very charitable and would always reach out to help others. His kind and giving spirit is the motivation for this event. Our Dance-A-Thon theme is “Children saving children... dancing for a cure!” We are trying to teach our children that they too can help save a life! To reinforce our teachings, we at Synergism School of Dance provide a dance scholarship to a student for our program in the name of Tray Jackson.
The Dance-a-Thon is an 8-hour event that will take place in June .
To enter the dance-a-thon each participate must submit a $20 registration fee( This filling fee will register your name and information for the event ) You can find sponsors or sponsor your self in the dance-a-thon. There is a minimum pledge of $20 per hour per person. Remember all proceeds will go in the name of Tracey "tray" Jackson to St. Jude's medical research.
This Dance-a-Thon involves live music, food, live entertainment, and excitement. We will also be raffling off great prizes and having contests during the event.
The Dance-a-Thon will only be a success if you are willing to make it happen! This year, we are working very hard to raise $10,000! We have an informational packet, which should be CAREFULLY read because it is your guide to how to participate in the Dance-a-Thon.
